The 'nws' package provides GNU R with the facilities of NetWorkSpaces (NWS)
as implemented by the existing Debian packages python-nwsserver and
python-nwsclient.

NWS can be thought of a modern and leight-weight alternative to larger
parallel programming toolkits like MPI.  Dr Dobb's had an article about it
last summer at http://www.ddj.com/architect/200001971
