Bug#415381: gnome-mplayer/gecko-mediaplayer in Debian

Dear Michael,

if you remember I packaged gnome-mplayer for Ubuntu based on your early work. 
I also packaged gecko-mediaplayer since apparently you were not interested to 
have it in Ubuntu.
Both packages are at version 0.6.1 and are doing well.
I have now a sponsor that would like to upload them to Debian.
Would you object in us doing so?
If you are still interested in these packages we would be happy if you'd like 
to contribute.
