The group is in place, and we have 3 Debian Developers as sponsors. We've also updated the packages, and have them ready to upload. What we're waiting for now is confirmation that one final Debian bug report has been resolved (#382147). For that we need a working ia64 box.
All other reported bugs have been resolved and are noted as such in the updated changelog file. Once we have this final bug confirmed, we'll start submitting monthly Debian packages along with our monthly releases.
