When I had taken inform-mode, I had also looked at inform, but there were no removal bugs then, so I assumed the package was still looked after. I use inform from time to time and will definitely have a look at the package. As far as I can tell from a quick glance at the SF page, Inform 7 is under the GPL, and there are also (upstream-provided) packages for Debian and Ubuntu. Programming I7 is fundamentally different from I6, however, so we shouldn't remove one in favour of the other. (To be honest, I prefer version 6 myself.) Besides, the bugs in the current inform package are all trivially fixable... I think it's worth keeping even though the Interactive Fiction community is quite small. Thanks! Jan
