Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist eancheck is a program which calculates the check digit for a UPC, EAN or PLU barcode number and checks it against the one supplied. This also includes a header file which allows for the inclusion of such functions in applications (one function allows for the calculation of check digits, the other for the checking of them). The deb is available at http://joe-baldwin.net/eancheck/eancheck-1.0.deb and the source is available from http://joe-baldwin.net/eancheck/eancheck-1.0.tar.gz. It is under a completely free license, no restrictions whatsoever are made upon the use of the program or the source code.
