  Description     : Wicd is a wired and wireless network manager for Linux.

Wicd (wired/less network manager) has no Gnome dependencies, so it is 
easy to use in XFCE, Fluxbox, Openbox, Enlightenment, etc. It is able 
to connect to wired and wireless networks, it supports profiles for each 
wireless and wired network, and it has many encryption schemes, some of 
which include WEP/WPA/WPA2. It remains compatible with wireless-tools.
