Thanks for this, I've been looking for a packaged solution like that

Some suggestions for the long description though:

The proper capitalization for bibtex is "BibTeX".

This is pointless in the Debian package description: it's a common
technique which is pretty useless to mention IMO.

Besides, what I'm really missing in this description is a complete list
of the supported bibliographic formats. Can you please add it?
