Allow me to attach the .diff.gz to this issue. It should apply cleanly to the upstream sources from linuxcanada. Most of the hard work is already done, it is also FHS compliant (or it should be for the most part). A couple of known issues are fixed using dpatch. I split the database drivers out to separate packages, but I don't think I ever bothered with drivers for anything other than postgresql. I haven't built this in a while, but I know it builds on ubuntu dapper (for i386). regards, Izak
