FWIW, I have successfully built a binary package from the Ubuntu Gutsy source package, for my personal use. It's here http://www.linux.it/~steko/debian/network-manager-pptp_0.6.5 +svnhead2574-0ubuntu1_i386.deb if someone needs it. Built on testing. Best, Steko
