Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
I'd like someone to adopt zinf, since I don't use it myself anymore and don't have
the time to to maintain it properly. The adopter should be familiar with C++, since
upstream is pretty dead and sometimes platform-specific (e.g. 64-bit) issues creep up
and need to be fixed. Also, there are several long-outstanding bugs open, mostly
upstream issues, so you should be prepared to spend some time on the package.
If nobody is willing to adopt zinf, I might consider having it
removed from sid/etch, since there are viable alternatives available (e.g. Rythmbox)
that *are* under active development.
Regards, Rotty
