Fine. Figure out a way to transition that doesn't involve automatically
replacing baz with bzr.

Or, just include in the bazaar package long description "This is baz,
not bzr. You probably want the bzr package, instead."

Or, just have 'bazaar' depend on *both* baz and bzr.
