Paul, can you please explain why did you change that? Mainly because I'd had some feedback that gcc-4 would build it fine, and I was hoping it was going to be a faster build. I've not seen the texture problem you're describing with either build though, so I'm at a bit of a loss. To confirm the results of build-alternatives, simply comparing the dependancies of the resulting binary debs should show up any differences in the selected alternatives. eg. dpkg-deb -I slviewer_*.deb | grep Depends -- Paul "TBBle" Hampson, Paul.Hampson@Pobox.com Shorter .sig for a more eco-friendly paperless office.
