Hello Jörg ! I was interested in packaging xindy myself, but as you seem to have done a good job on it, would you be happy if I upload it ? If you're comfortable with subversion, I would be interested in setting up a project on alioth.debian.org, for collaborative maintainance. In any case, I'll take a deeper look at the package, and if you agree, I'll upload it. makeindex is a huge pain. Cheers, Vince
