Bug#402391: ITP: daemons -- Wrapper library to run Ruby scripts as daemons

Hello,

I´m Filipe from the debian pkg-ruby-extras team, and we also have a package for daemons.
I created the package around the same date that you and I haven´t noticed your ITP.
One issue with daemons is that it can replace the package libdaemonize-ruby, because daemons includes daemonize.rb. So, in our package we have a stub to daemonize.rb so we can drop libdaemonize-ruby package.

I´ve take a look at your package and it seems a lot like ours, so I ask you: do you mind if I take this ITP for me and upload my version of daemons? It would be great because then I can coordinate the actions with the debian pkg-ruby-extras team also.
