Packaging for Debian

I don't know if this is the correct list. If not, forgive me.

I will package a software (LBAdmin: LoadBalancer.org Appliance Administration System; http://www.loadbalancer.org
) for Debian distribution.

This is my first ".deb" package; so, I am looking for some information and orientation.

Can anyone help me ?
