Bug#419682: ITP: qloud -- tool to measure loudspeaker frequency responses and distortions

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : qloud
  Version         : 0.21
  Upstream Author : Andrew Gaydenko <a@gaydenko.com>

  Programming Lang: C++
  Description : tool to measure loudspeaker frequency responses and distortions

 After audio system response capturing is done over JACK with the
 Farina's (sweep) method, IR (Impulse Response) is calculated.
 Currently these IR-aware analysis outcomes are available:

 - plotting of SPL (Sound Pressure Level) versus frequency (db/Hz scale),
 - plotting of IR-power versus time (db/sec),
 - plotting of Step Response versus time (amp/sec),
 - plotting of harmonic levels versus frequency (db/Hz scale).

 IR-power plot is useful to see a room reflections behaviour.
 Step Response plot is useful for speakers time alignment in multiway
 loudspeakers. All plots support zooming with history and panning.
