Package: wnpp Severity: normal I request assistance with maintaining the scilab package, in particular fixing the experimental 3.0 package. The most important bug is #260542 (the scicos problem) and #261966. Scilab uses cdbs to build the debian package and that should not be changed and all the debian specific changes should be preserved. The package description is: Scilab is a matrix-based scientific software package resembling Matlab and Xmath. Scilab contains hundreds of built-in mathematical functions, rich data structures (including polynomials, rationals,linear systems, lists, etc...) and comes with a number of specific toolboxes for control, signal processing, ...
