Hi Alexander and Daniel,
I seem to have stirred a pot of hg-buildpackage code here. My code is
now published online, and was just uploaded before I got to my
email...
but I am happy to collaborate with you both. It looks like you both
have implemehted mq support, which I haven't. On the other hand, I
have implemented importing of .dsc files as well as orig.tar.gz files,
and work with vanilla Mercurial. That is, I think my code is more
oriented towards history management while yours is more oriented
towards patch management. Both are useful and there could be room for
code sharing.
My hg-buildpackage is written entirely with bash, though it is based
on my darcs-buildpackage which was written in Haskell.
If either of you are interested in contributing to a unified package,
let's talk and see what we can do and if our visionsfor this tool can
be reconciled. If so, I'd have no problem adding you as uploaders.
My code is now online for cloning with:
hg clone http://hg.complete.org/hg-buildpackage
