I've increasingly been spending more of my time on Project Gutenberg,
and I've not done anything with Debian for a long time. I've only
got an AMD64 machine, and its only connection to the internet is by
carrying CDs to the library, so I can't properly orphan the package.
Display-dhammapada is a simple enough package; the only problem is
that the adopter should be willing to maintain a non-free package as
well, as part of the package will have to be split into non-free when
sarge releases, as per bug #285156.
