Package: wnpp Severity: normal I bought a new portable player recently, and it's only a matter of time until I lose, sell, or break my iFP. Also, the UMS firmware for the 1/3/5xx series supports Ogg these days, and this package doesn't support the new MTP-based players at all. So I think it's of generally limited value. This package has several patches, which have been forwarded upstream already. If you're going to adopt it, I suggest subscribing to the ifp-driver list. Also be aware that you'll get a lot of generic tech support emails from iRiver users (on all OS, with all kinds of devices...) -- Joe Wreschnig <piman@debian.org>
