thanks for having cared about that, and sorry for  my delay. It's fine
for me if you upload it, so just go on!

If  you  wish    you  could  inject     the  source package    in  the
debian-multimedia SVN repository:

http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/demudi

actually  there is already  a directory for fmit,  but which never got
uploaded.  In this way it's  easier to keep track  of  the sources and
possibly work together if needed.

You may also consider setting the maintainer to

Debian Multimedia Team <debian-multimedia@lists.debian.org>

so that bug reports and notification of uploads and migrations will be
forwarded to the d-m list too. There are already  a few packages doing
this:
