Any news about this?

I've got a ready package...Anybody agains an ITP hijacking? (I don't really
know how this works...).

Have fun; the only thing I'd ask for is a big fat-ass warning that this is not a drop-in replacement for the *dm packages as it does not handle

- properly resetting the X server after logout (severe security implications!)
 - non-/etc/shadow user accounts (LDAP etc).

I.e. it is fine for a laptop, but I would recommend against its use in a true multiuser environment.

There were some minor nits as well.

ITP hijacking: well, ITPs are advisory locks only. You can either just close the ITP with your upload, or set the bug owner to yourself before doing that. It doesn't make much difference, really.
