Hi,We have some nice people over at debian-legal. Perhaps you could ask them for advice regarding the GPL/LGPL issue? I also noticed the "PLUGINS ARE NOT CONSIDERED TO BE DERIVED WORK!!!" string in almost every source file. Perhaps ask for advice on this as well.
It would be nice to have xmms2 in the archive since I am preparing a package that will (when available) depend on it.
