Would you be interested in joining the pkg-fonts maintenance team? The team gathers together all developers participating in fotn packages maintenance. You, of course, remain the maintainer of your package (unless you're OK for team maintenance)....the team is first a common place for font package maintainers.... There's also a chance that the team will take over the maintenance of the fontforge package, which has recently been orphaned by Chanop.
