"mozilla-thunderbird-locales" is a source package for producing
"mozilla-thunderbird-locale-lang(-reg)" for the 30 languages mentioned
under "Upstream Authors" above. The packages have been tested with
Alexander Sack's experimental version of mozilla-thunderbird 1.5
(1.5-2), see:

The debs are made from all translations of Thunderbird 1.5 found at
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/1.5/win32/xpi/
Some of these translations are already packaged/ITP'd for earlier
versions of thunderbird. I have no intention to hijack any existing
packages against their maintainers wills. Therefore I will ask the
current maintainers of the existing mozilla-thunderbird-locale packages
if they would like to let me adopt their binary package(s) and if so let
mozilla-thunderbird-locales include it(them). If the answer is "no" I
will simply delete the corresponding language/package from
mozilla-thunderbird-locales.
