OmegaT is a free translation memory application written in Java. It is a
tool intended for professional translators. It does not translate texts
for you. It assists you by storing pieces of text in a database (the
"translation memory") so that when you next encounter the same piece of
text (a "segment"), or part of it, you can see immediately how you
translated it in the past.

It supports plain text, HTML and OpenOffice.org 1.0/StarOffice 6.0 as
document formats, has Unicode (UTF-8) support so it can be used with
non-Latin alphabets, and it is compatible with other translation memory
applications (TMX Level 1).
