Hi,
I'm going the steps to file application.
(need to land a package and get a sponsort)
I've been verified and had my key signed.
I've already installed and tested 'electric', qucs, and others.
tell me if you have any prerequisite skills / experience you
need for the next maintainer
I've programmed on and off for 15 yrs.
I have a degree in science; incl. E&M
I understand the new version is moving to Java. I have done a little
coding in Java and have Sun's version installed.
As far as Java forcing non-free I don't know.
The application is GPL. It just requires a free download to *run*.
So I think it doesn't have to be in non-free. Possibly in contrib due
to weird install.
Thanks,
