Several releases happened, but the situation of the source code with
respect to patent issues did not evolve AFAIK:

So I'm no longer interested in packaging Pixie since it would not be
suitable for debian anyway (or even for release by upstream for that
matter).

Radim, you can close this bug, or leave it open in the hope that the
situation changes.
