Bug#298514: RFA: softbeep -- System bell replacement

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: RIPEMD160

I request an adopter for the softbeep package.

The package description is:
 This utility may be used for redirecting beeps of the internal PC speaker to
 your sound card. It is implemented entirely in user space by using the
 LD_PRELOAD environment variable.

I don't use this package anymore. There's a possibly-RC bug open on
it that would probably be simple to fix, but I haven't looked at the
package in a while.
