Hello Kevin,

I'm working with DICOM myself (but not with this specific package), so I
might be a candidate for taking over this package (and the corresponding
ctn-doc). I'm not a DD (yet?) but already have some experience with
packaging.

However, I'm not sure about whether there's still an interest in the
package. The last upstream version is from 2003, and there's not much
bug-traffic about it (near to none). What do you think, it it still
sensible for Debian to ship this package? Do you have a clue whether
it's actually being used?

On the other hand, since it has already been packaged and no critical
bugs are open, currently the only thing needed is to "keep an eye" on
the package, just in case any problems arise with it in the future. So
if there's still some need for it, I'm willing to take over that function.

Regards,

Thijs Kinkhorst
