Bug#337220: An ITP for xindice already exists

That's good news. :)

Perhaps you can have it co-maintained under pkg-java?

I just noticed that 337220 is requesting that libxindice-java be
packaged and I saw that you already had an ITP for xindice. I'm not
very sure how xindice will be packaged but perhaps it would just be
the same as having a libxindice-java (as a dependency for other java
apps). I've done a quick look on the tarball of xindice and I saw that
it's a stand-alone app (correct me if I'm wrong).

I'm not sure if the xindice library should be packaged separately
(make a xindice and a libxindice-java package where libxindice-java
would be needed by apps so the server code won't be included) from the
server code, but my original intention was to state that the RFP for
libxindice-java and the ITP for xindice should probably just be
merged.

Thanks.
