Looks like he's wanting a BSD one. from the excerpt you provided, i think that text is quite clear already. nothing wrong with formalizing the license, but i don't see any reason why the code as-is can't be in debian (though i could understand that ftp-masters might drag their feet for a bit on accepting a non-standard license). sean
