Bug#89554: wnpp: rnmap -- better alternatives available?
Hi,
Although rnmap may have authentication, and ssl support, I don't believe
it to be as secure as ssh. That combined with the requirement for python
make me believe that a better alternative is available (ssh and a locked
down shell or simple script). Certainly people who are interested in
this would probably also be interested in something like nessus which is
more actively developed and better supported.
I can't see any evidence of any work on rnmap upstream since July 2003
(more than two years ago).
