This point was not trivial to solve also.. The way I did was to all symlink into /var/lib/mediawiki, and to change the displayed messages at config time.. You should try it your self to see if you like it this way. The new package is (still) at: deb http://www.cti.ecp.fr/~beauxir5/debian binary/ I did not bump the package release number, as we are not in an offical packaging, and the package will soon be handeled by the mediawiki team.. > After the move was done, MediaWiki appeared to be running fine.
