Hi Anibal,

first of all thanks for sponsoring partimage. I uploaded new packages
which incorporate your latest fix and some changes by myself.

You can find the packages at
 deb http://www.teco.edu/~biebl/debian unstable main
 deb-src http://www.teco.edu/~biebl/debian unstable main
The package is linda/lintian/pbuilder clean.

Do you think there is a chance of getting partimage into sarge?

The reason why it took me so long to get a first package ready is, that
I wanted to get an overview about partimage. It seems that the
development version of partimage has some nice capabilities, e.g. split
between backend and fronend (different guis: newt, qt, text) and the
possibility to mount partimage image files. Unfortunately it seems that
the project is pretty much dead now and the current development version
will never mature. I'll try to get additional information from upstream.

Nevertheless I think partimage in its current state is already a useful
software and I use it on a regular basis. It surely is worth getting
into sarge.

Cheers,
Michael
