  Description     : convert png images to pdf

The png2pdf program converts PNG images to PDF. If the PNG file contains
an alpha channel, this can be used to: 

  * create an appropriate alpha channel in the PDF file or
  * mix against a user specified background.

The program is mainly intended for use with pdfLaTeX but may be
used for other purposes too.
