Ok. Good first pass. How can I best help improve things. Here's a quick list
of what I noticed first.
For me, "debuild -us -uc" chokes due to the extra newline in debian/control
Fix is easy enough.
Standards-Version in debian/control refers to Debian's policy standards.
Set to 3.6.1
Package version number (in changelog) should be set to something like
0.91-1 (the first value is the upstream version number, and the second value is
the Debian package revision number).
Why is there only a python-2.3 package? Is that all pylucene supports?
Lintian gives a number of warnings and errors. All those need to be fixed.
Do you need help with them? The native-package-with-dash-version can
be fixed by making sure the upstream tarball is around with a special
name (PACKAGE-VERISION.orig.tar.gz) as described in some of the
documentation.
Cheers,
Jeff
