Bug#216212: smsclient: keep for a bit?

Hi.

I've just started looking at smsclient again for some remote network
monitoring I need to do. However I've discovered it's orphaned and up
for removal. Can I request a raincheck of a week or so on this please?
I've grabbed the source package and updated a few of the access numbers
so that they work again and would like a chance to decide if I'm likely
to use it long term. If I decide I am then I'll adopt the package and
try to get it cleaned up.
