The phrase "record each song you listen to" sounds like it saves a file
of the song. Perhaps this would be better:

"An XMMS plugin that saves information about the songs you play to
a database, and allows you to generate a variety of reports about
your listening habits. The information stored includes items such as
filename, song title and artist, ..."

(I don't read French, so you'll need to fill in and correct the last
sentence about what it actuall saves.)
