Hello,
I have packaged python-matplotlib 0.51 and I have also packaged the python gd
module (0.52) because python-matplotlib depends on it.
My packages are here:

I'm waiting for a sponsor for python-matplotlib, and I could help you to
co-maintain python-gd.
I have called the python gd module `python-gdmodule` because I didn't know that
this module was already in Debian, so I should turn my package name into `python-gd`.
