I am a Debian user eagerly waiting for `python-matploblib`. I thank Vittorio Palmisano for his work! However, I think `python-gdmodule` you packaged is a same library as `python-gd` in main. It is still at 0.42, (and you packaged 0.52) and the package is requested for adoption. I think you should contact Ben Pfaff (pfaffben@debian.org) for adoption.
