Subject: libflash: missing components from upstream package
X-Mailer: reportbug 1.50

Package: libflash
Version: N/A; reported 2002-05-11
Severity: important

The original ITP #81708 for this package stated:

"This is a GPL Flash (as in the Macromedia one =) player,"
"and includes a Netscape plugin, a Standalone player, and a screensaver for
KDE."

And referred to this URL: http://www.swift-tools.com/Flash/

However, this package is based on a ripped-off version of the original
upstream source, to be found at http://www.directfb.org/download/

The original upstream package contains the following:

- Lib contains the FlashLib sources.
- Plugin contains plugin sources.
- Player contains the standalone player sources.
- Kflash a Flash KDE screen saver.

but only the first is provided by this package, please include the complete
suite in a multipackage.

I'm asking the flashplugin maintainer to rename to flashplugin-nonfree,
please wait for his response before using another name for that binary
package.

Thanks
