Package: wnpp
Version: unavailable; reported 2003-11-07
Severity: normal

I'm orphaning this package because I am not really using it and have not
much time for it.

If someone wants to adopt it, consider packaging the newest (2.0) version,
which is a complete rewrite (coded more carefully) and will probably not
have the bugs the current version in Debian has.

Some information about this package follows:

Package: php4-apc
Priority: extra

Installed-Size: 204

Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.4-4), zendapi-20020429
Filename: pool/main/a/apc/php4-apc_1.1.0pl1-9_i386.deb

MD5sum: 9f9e7a749c57f2e9200c3524a318952c
Description: Caches PHP scripts to get them loaded much faster
Usually, when you use PHP scripts in a website, every time someone loads
them they're loaded, parsed, compiled and then executed. The Alternative
PHP Cache allows to save these scripts in an already-compiled form, so that
much time is saved if they're called frequently.

Hi,

php4-apc has been removed from Debian, because it was extremly
outdated and also broken in multiple ways. For more infos, please see
bug #230224. So, I'm closing all open bug reports.

Cheers,
Andi
