Such things do happen, and it's no problem for me (of course, with
exception for the rather pathological cases). My mail was just
intended to keep the ITP-page clean.

No, I just itended to package, and have not come really far beyound
analysis. However, for me the real problem was the license review. I
found it particulary hard, especially it did seem to me that slrn
linked again canlock was not distributable. Perhaps it would be a good
step to sort this out with debian-legal.
