Bug#278174: ITP: cal3d-cvs - Skeletal based 3d character animation library CVS tree

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name : cal3d-cvs
Version : 20041022
Upstream Author : Bruno 'Beosil' Heidelberger <beosil@swileys.com>, Laurent Desmecht <l.desmecht@skynet.be>, Justin Hare <jahare@vrac.iastate.edu>, Chad Austin <aegisk@iastate.edu>
* URL : http://cal3d.sf.net/
* License : LGPL
Description :

Cal3d is a skeletal based 3d character animation library
written in C++ in a platform-/graphic API-independent way.
It has an unified exporter plugin framework.

The frequency of the releases of cal3d is low (last release is 1 year old).
The CVS version is stable enough for people to depend on it. The idea
of the CVS package is to provide a packaged version of cal3d when the
CVS tree is stable enough to deserve this and that the cal3d authors do
not provide an official release although they could.

A package is already available at
http://download.gna.org/underware/debian/unstable/
