Atlantis doesn't come with source. It's at best non-free.

No, the author is very adamant about this. To quote from the Freshmeat
page (http://freshmeat.net/projects/atlantis/):

"Thank you for your comment. Indeed not releasing the sources has the
disadvantages of limiting the program to only one System. On the
other hand, I am free to decide what license to use, how I want to release
my software, if I want to release my software, and when I like to work on
it, it's not you who decide. If you heavily disagree with my terms of
conditions, then it's your freedom to NOT use the software."
