Bayes-type filtering, which is a blocklist for IPs that are picked out
of spam received and classified as spam by well trained Bayesian
filters. The Bayesian-type filters also tell which mail is not
spam, and these friendly IPs are not blocked.

In other words:

- IPs to block are picked out of Bayes-filtered spam 
- Hosts that send you and others non-spam are not blocked
- Hosts that repeatedly spam you and others are continually blocked
- Your mail server can selectively refuse service by IP address
