The other factor might be your zaptel modules might also need to be upgraded to 1.0RC1. I have put together another package for zaptel-source and friends on http://people.debian.org/~msp Matt. I see that you have zaptel up for RFA. I would be happy to take it over and that would complement my asterisk packaging nicely. But this is my first debian kernel module package, so I might need a bit of hand holding. Could you have a look at my packaging of zaptel 1.0RC1 above and confirm that I have applied your previous diff correctly for a Debian package. Upstream makefile was doing all sorts of wierd stuff for kernel 2.[4,6].x. I also have some digium hardware now too!
