This means that you claim that the problem has been dealt with.

Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

This is not how you adopt packages. Go to www.debian.org/devel/ and read
the guides. Those contains the necessary information on how to properly
package software as well as how to adopt software.
