Hi Noah,
I'd like to adopt spicctrl. I have a Sony Vaio laptop myself, and I noticed some
weeks ago that this package was out of date and that you were looking for a new
maintainer for it.
I tried to build a new package based on the 1.6 upstream version. You can find
it here: http://sortiz.org/debian/spicctrl/1.6/
I'd be glad to have your comments on it.
